How do you introduce yourself to people you meet in business?
I help people change their lives for the better. No really, I'm just a recruiter. My niche is accounting and finance direct-hire placement at all levels. I assist individuals looking to enhance their situation as well as companies seeking top talent.
Name someone you most admire
In business, anyone that values integrity and passion.

I was researching something else and found this site.

Financial
Which online communities do you actively participate in?
LinkedIn

NAPS
What recruiting tools can you not live without?
My phone, of course and a computer. I believe in having a good tracking system for everything so a database is helpful (if you use it correctly), a planner, and a way to check yourself against your goals. It's a numbers business as much as it's a relationship business.
Which blogs would you recommend people read?
Scott Love.
What do you like best about RecruitingBlogs.com...
It's nice to know there are other people experiencing the same issues as myself. If you keep an open mind, you can learn from anyone in this business regardless of how long they've been recruiting.
...and what would you change and why?
Barb Bruno says it best, "So what, now what"? I love that because people want to work with positive people that don't crumble when faced with challenges.

Have you met Barb Bruno or heard her speaking engagements?

I'd like to discuss what any of you found valuable from Barb's sessions. I have a few things in mind to implement and I'm wondering if anyone out there has tried any of her ideas/practices.

Scott Love
