Adding Interview Notes in Applicant Tracking System

I am trying to find out what the best practice is for including interview notes in a candidate's record within our applicant tracking system. If we do include our interview notes sheet in a…Continue

"A good question, Lauren. I can't speak to whether or nor these work well. I'd suggest a careful weighing of the pros and cons to determine what is most beneficial, e.g., "Is this your idea or the 'suggestion'/instructions of…"

Virtual Career Fairs

I'm wondering what others think about virtual career fairs and whether or not they are worth the time/provide ROI?As a corporate recruiter I am skeptical about the value of our company participating in a virtual hiring event because it doesn't seem personal enough. I'm all about using technology to make our jobs easier, but I have a feeling we will end up having more technical issues than we will viable candidates after all is said and done.  See More

Recruit Military

I'm curious to see if anyone uses Recruit Military as a resource to find veterans/retired military job seekers.  We've gotten a few calls about job fairs and job posting packages, but costs are a factor and we don't normally see a great ROI on job fairs.  We're always looking to hire vets, so if anyone has bought a package I'd love to hear your thoughts.   See More

Applicant Tracking Capabilities

Just curious to see if anyone utilizes an ATS that will allow positions to be posted automatically for a future date.  We use Taleo now and are unable to set future dates for positions to open automatically so there is a lot of time wasted with recruiters going in and manually opening positions.  I know this feature exists with other ATS systems, but would like to hear from someone using another brand with this capability.  For our labor forecasting we would like to enter a certain number of…See More

Can anyone recommend a free/inexpensive veterans job posting website?  We use Hero2Hired now, which has driven a good amount of traffic to our careers page, but I’m always looking for new resources. See More

Recruiting in Multiple Languages

I work in an industry that is about as global as it gets.  I'm curious to see if anyone is recruiting for positions in the US that don't require any proficiency of the English language.  If so, how do you post, screen, onboard, and manage employees who do not speak, read, and understand English at all?  We have determined a few potential positions where English may not be required, but are trying to figure out how other companies handle this. Do you post in multiple languages, hire recruiters…See More
