Career Paths

I know that many companies provide career path counseling for their employees. When you have been at a "C" level is taking a position at a Director level admitting defeat, or detrimental for your career? It can take quite awhile to find another "C" level position. Are these people penalized for signifigant gaps in employment?I would love to hear other's views on this. Thank you!See More
