"Hi Janine, In Singapore (where I am based), most of the firms follow a "three times" rule. That is, if you are given a salary, your target is three times your base. So if you take 5 - 8 k as your draw per month, your target is 15 - 24k.…"

It ain't over until it's truly over.....

This was a couple of years back. Searched and successfully placed a presales consultant with hard to find technical skills. This was for an Asia Pacific role and the candidate got a nice sign- on bonus along with a 15% hike over his previous salary (which incidentally had just been increased). Because the client was in a very niche space, they also offered to fly the candidate to Europe where he underwent two and – a- half months training. I guess you can all see where this is going…..After the…See More

Singapore is one of the friendliest places to do business. Its a place where there is very little red tape, and things get done at lightening speed.

Furthermore, as the Western and European economies struggle, Asian economies are enjoying a strong China, and strong intra-Asian trade.

This is why any savvy businessperson who wants to get in on the benefits of doing business with Asian countries needs to know the options that Singapore has to offer.

We at HireLabs recently decided to launch an office in Singapore and met a few very helpful people, so we decided to launch a group where we can help those friends who are looking at Singapore as a viable option to do business.

Please join us, and see what we saw in Singapore :)
