"Is Bountyjobs good or bad? I guess that depends how you want to look at it. Is it for everyone? No. It is good for someone who wants to try to get into recruiting independant from a staffing company.. It…"
"Thanks I appreciate the reply. In our niche, higher education, the process makes no sense to us. I could not think of one advantage to us as a search firm, but could see how Bounty benefits from our efforts. Thus we don't work with client that…"
"Hi Thomas, but 3 quick responses to your Q's:
1. The major value to an agency is bizdev. In short, if you have a good niche and a target list of companies in that niche you'd like to market your candidates to but can't…"
"We had a client that went to this "Vendor" and to me it looks like you are giving Bounty acess to your candidates with no assurance you will get credit. It appears to be a round about means of sourcing candates for Bounty. Needless…"
"My experience with the folks at Boutnyjobs has been nothing short of remarkable. Despite being a bit short staffed especially with the uptick in biz they have been super response to any of our questions/concerns from the CEO on down. I only…"
I understand your furstration with Bounty. That's how I felt when I first started working with them. I know I am a good and honest recruiter. It is hard recruiting or introducing a candidate when you don't have that one on one…"

Which conferences do you plan to attend in the next year?
What kind of networking are you open to?
Open networking, Referrals between friends
How do you introduce yourself to people you meet in business?
Because a majority of my business is done via internet or telephone it is generally pretty informal ..."Hi, I'm Robin if ou need to hire or find talent in the chemical or allied industry I am the person you need to know!"
It works most of the time.
At conferences I just hit them up for their business cards and avoid the sloppy drunk ones -- unless they are sloppy drunk with hiring power in which case I might just have a spare contract or two up my sleeve :) -- J/K clients who get sloppy drunk at conferences are not the ones who return phone calls or retain talent --usually they end up being "gaurentee period" nightmares.
Name someone you most admire
Which blogs would you recommend people read?
I'm pretty random --I use Socialmedian so I can have a smorgasboard of reading material and I follow the ones that interest me -- there are some pretty prolific and interesting bloggers hiding out there.
What recruiting tools can you not live without?
Phone, personal Database, Linked In , Monster.com (especially right now --wheew there is a lot of talent there that will disappear as soon as the economy turns...smart recruiters are filling their databases)
