How do you introduce yourself to people you meet in business?: Hello my name is Rosa and I am a Recruitment Researcher at Generator Group. My firm is a retained search firm that specializes in the Consumer Products and Technology practice industries. I am part of the Consumer Products team and we work with companies in the Apparel, Footwear, Sporting Goods, Action Sports and Outdoor industries. We recently have also been working with some local foods companies as well.

Last year, I graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and I am an AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter. I plan to take my PHR exam in the next two years. I plan to go to graduate school, however, I am still researching my options of schools and trying to determine whether my focus of study will be in HR, Training and Development, or Organizational Psychology.

Outside of work: I am involved with sevearl professional HR chapters: PHRMA, NHRMA and SHRM, I volunteer with New Avenues for Youth and participate on 2 soccer teams, a women’s indoor soccer team and a co-ed outdoor soccer team with my church. I try to volunteer with Hands on Portland and plan to join a Toastmasters group soon.
