Target Black Friday Manager Give an Epic Pep Talk - This is Company Culture

I've been seeing a lot of back and forth conversation regrading "Company Culture" and I can't help but to think that the arguments and point being made are really shallow. Most of which sound like a paper pusher pushing paper. They are thoughtless and regurgitated comments from other people. As frustrating as it may be I've come across the new video of the Target Black Friday Manager giving an epic pep talk. How's that for company culture?See More

If you're a hottie then your video interview can be this bad if you're looking for sales jobs like her...guys included I guess

Maybe sometimes standing out in an interview isn't always the best thing.  But as every recruiter already knows, sometimes it's the worst of times that provide the most memorable - and funny - moments in an otherwise often dull daily professional existence.  And this one will crack you up.

Would you hire her?

If the answer is yes, go for it - she's probably still looking for a job.  Proof that in interviews, there are no stupid questions, but there are plenty of stupid…

Recruiters Get Featured on LinkedIn: What Should Job Seekers Do To "Woo" You?

One of the oldest aphorisms, not to mention time worn clichés, in recruiting: the extended job search as dating metaphor - or, for similes' sake, that looking for the perfect job is a lot like looking for the perfect mate. …

Greetings Ryan! Was introduced by Josh Jozwik who tells me you're one  smart recruiter! I may not be that smart but after 30+ years of recruiting, I'm still willing to learn new things :)

Wishing you the best!

HI Ryan,

I'm with Decision Toolbox and we are looking aggressively for a F&A recruiter who lives in Philly (although we work virtually).  If you know of anyone please feel free to send him or her my contact info and link to the position which is below.

Thanks!

Hi, my name is Kevin and I am the operations manager for a healthcare recruiting firm in Los Angeles, CA. I’m reaching out to you because you indicated on your profile that you were in healthcare staffing and possibly open to doing some splits. We have a lot of open job orders and offer a 50/50 fee split. Would you be open to discussing ways we could collaborate from time to time?

Thanks, Ryan - I appreciate it :) I'll tell you the funny thing - I put hours into the other questions and fell flat . . . while this one was a little easier :) Life is a trip sometimes :)
