I am a big proponent of Free, Open Source (FOSS) software. I think it stemmed from the fact that I don't like paying for software and my conscious actually bothered me every time I downloaded and installed pirated versions of software from the internet. Linux....can it ever be a reasonable option?

I am sitting here typing on my new installation of openSUSE 10.3 and so far I like it. I consider myself technical enough to break things....not so much on fixing them. I like the idea of linux and open source in general first and foremost because I can't stand the high (a perspective thing....I know) cost of software....especially business software.
