KarenM - "Thomas.. if you remember I sent you a personal email, off line; in which I had mentioned to you that my comments had not been addressed to you - and actually your name had not even been mentioned within those comments.. My comments had a...

Really think so Karen? I seem to recall another thread where you considered my way of thinking to be a character flaw..or at least the start of the slippery slope towards the abandonment of ones moral compass. I'll take consistency for 100 please...

Would you be friend with the guy if you had met him outside of work? how important is the guy? if his cause succeeds, how will it cost you? will it cost you? if you really like the guy, and deem him important, flip him twenty bucks and tell him ...

this is just me, but complaining about egos in an environment where content is provided by people OPINING about things, is like saying the zoo would be a great place if it wasn't for all of the stinky animals and their smelly poop. can't have the ...

I liked this part: "I decided to put my acting skills to work and walked through there like I was an attorney. I was actually asked a couple of times if I was an attorney. Me...," taken together with the fact you dictated the terms of engagement...

Yep...my recruiting career sucked until I figured out I needed to be proactive about covering stuff like this. On another note - I've been dumb enough to accept a counteroffer..it stands as just about the costliest thing I've ever done to myself....

good post..I would just add this - If you're talking about shopping candidates to generate business, then yeah, just emailing is dumb..but an email combined with a call referencing the email a day or so later can work. And i always leave a messa...

Methodologies are driven by doctrines, such… Continue
