Who Does That?

No Shortcuts

Building a great team is not easy.  There are no shortcuts.  Recruiting plans tend to be more fly by the seat of your pants in nature.  I need this, get it for me now.A great recruiting plan focuses on continuously finding the best talent you can for all of the roles you need to fill.  If you can’t be patient on a given role, you may have to settle.  But overall, the effort needs to be sustained and resilient.  Top talent doesn’t always move easily and doesn’t always move now.  Sustained…See More

Never Enough Arms

One adage in baseball is that you never have enough arms.  What it means is that pitching is important and good pitching is always at risk.  One of your pitchers might get injured, or might flake out.  A minor hitch may cause one of them to lose the strike zone.  A situation can come up where you just need a slightly different skill set, and then you realize that you need that skill set regularly.Same thing in recruiting.  If you’ve built a great team and they are performing beautifully, you…See More

Truly Passive

We like to use the term passive candidate. We don’t want to hire someone who is looking for a job, we want passive candidates. But it’s not an either or thing. At some point, things may change for that candidate and they become open to at least talking, possibly considering a change. What you want is a partially passive candidate or a mostly passive candidate.Someone who is good and doesn’t need to make a change but…See More

“Todd is truly a breath of fresh air in this industry. He takes a very open and honest approach when it comes to his business and in the recruiting industry there is not much more you can ask for. I can always trust what Todd tells me and I know that he always has his clients, the candidates and the recruiters best interests in mind during all stages of the process. Todd’s ability to handle the needs of both his client and the candidate in a manner that results in a great experience for all is one of the many factors that set him apart. I am excited to grow our working relationship and look forward to future opportunities with Todd and his company. Todd’s professionalism, dedication to the job at hand and trustworthiness easily allow me to strongly recommend him to any client or business partner. Regardless of the role or opportunity presented to work with him I am certain Todd will make an excellent partner and will leave you with only the best of impressions.” December 14, 2009

“I have worked with Todd for over 3 years and am amazed at his reach nationally to find the best candidates. I have hired him to help one of my clients to find engineers, something in short supply in Southern California. He always comes up with the best candidates, even better than the local recruiters I have worked with. Todd is punctual and very responsive when contacted and stays in touch all the time throughout the process. He is a beacon of light in an industry full of recruiters who are lazy. I highly recommend Todd if you need a recruiter who is very effective and has a great network. He really works for his fees. Dan Curtin” November 10, 2008

“We have been working with Todd Kmiec since the beginning of this year (2008). We have found that Todd is very professional, and that he has a very strong knowledge of the way recruitng should be done. Todd knows his clients and understand what they are looking for in a candidate. He is very quick to respond to any questions and provides concise and clear feedback. When a candidate is in the interview phase Todd follows through so that all parties can be kept up to date and clear on the status. We have worked with Todd on several difficult to fill positions and have both enjoyed, and learned from the experience. We look forward to working with him on many more. November 7, 2008 Sally K. He's always available to answer any questions that I have and makes it a point to always touch base. He really is someone to know as he takes great joy in what he does. He's working round the clock to please his clients and does it all with a great attitude. "Todd is one hard to come by and rare to find. Over the years I’ve known him through our daily recruiting operations, he has never failed me, not even ONCE. He is 200% dedicated and expert at what he does. His follows his miraculous system with precision, insight, determination and perfection. He is one I’ve known with the most business common sense, openness and fairness. You can expect a lot from him but still not getting disappointed. He is truly one of a million, the best partner I’ve had. He sets the perfect example of what a model business partner should be. I can never say enough of how proud I am in finding him. I have no doubt that our partnership will be a lifelong one. I highly recommend Todd to anyone interested in partnering with him for any business activity." May 10, 2009

I don't always have a candidate for your open job orders but always conduct a

search in my files and "only" send if appropriate.  Would appreciate remaining on

your open job listing distribution.  Frank Gregg,. GREGG & Associates

Hi, my name is Kevin and I am the operations manager for a healthcare recruiting firm in Los Angeles, CA. I’m reaching out to you because you indicated on your profile that you were in healthcare staffing and possibly open to doing some splits. We have a lot of open job orders and offer a 50/50 fee split. Would you be open to discussing ways we could collaborate from time to time?
