They read the first few steps and believe they've got the whole picture. So my slam was not on behavioral interviewing in it's true form (I misspoke whe I claimed that an interviewer might be using "too literally" when what I really meant to say is "more robotically", or without knowing what their outcome is really suppossed to be.) but rather on many people who do not use those techniques appropriately or effectively. Thanks again for your thoughtful comment.
