How do you introduce yourself to people you meet in business?: As you can see from my resume, I have an Eleven year progressive background in recruiting and staffing for technical, sales and administrative markets. I am currently working as a corporate recruiter for Wegmans Food Markets. As the Director of Recruiting for Met Life’s Rochester Office and, previously, for The Sutherland Group’s East Coast Division, I have successfully met aggressive staffing goals to support double-digit expansion. I have also improved the recruiting process and helped shift the corporate culture to one of stronger corporate-staff relations. An example of my individual and leadership strengths would be the Polo.com project I managed in Minneapolis, as a Senior Recruiter for The Sutherland Group. I assembled a temporary recruiting team and completely staffed an 85-position call center operation, bringing in top quality employees in a 2% unemployment market, with a resulting attrition rate of less than 3% per year. This project was a feather in our cap and I subsequently advanced to Director of Recruiting.

My value to an organization will be my ability to work with internal or client decision-makers to align them in defining needs, and to recruit the appropriate individuals to meet those needs, even in the most challenging markets.
