Recruiters :)

I want to get my RecruitingBlog going. I realize that it will take some time to develop proper social media habbits, and actually set up all my RSS feeds and stuff. I tend to have a lot of things going on in my life both inside and outside of work, but I gotta make time for what is important to me, and I am super passionate about web 2.0. I dont think I can do a post every day, but am very inspired by the dilligence of some people like Rayanne Thorn, who do, so I am going to write a post once a… Continue

RecruitFest - Part Deux

So I had a really great time at RecruitFest! I knew it would be awesome. I thought I would have known what to expect, since I went to the Original RecruitFest, but I guess that’s the thing with unconferences, they are fluid, organic, and changing. Personally I love the unconference style of things. Probably because I don’t actually like rules all that much :P

The People...

Updated - Video use at MSFT

Here are some examples:

RECRUITFEST ROCKED!!

One week ago today, I was at the Grand Festival of Recruiting! I will never forget it, and want to share a few of my experiences from that day...

So Thursday night I was up late packing my things for a weekend away from home... I had planned to drive my car half way to Toronto and park it at a friends house, but I was running late that morning, and literally RAN to catch my train out of Burlington. I arrived at the InterContinental, still in my flip flops, with minutes to spare. I approached a… Continue

Vacation!

So I am back now from a 1 week vacation in BC. I have a lot of friends who live out there, and was able to do and see so many amazing things.

I started out with 4 days of yoga in the mountains, at a retreat on a ranch just outside of Prince George which is owned by my yoga centre. It was wonderful to be completely offline and surrounded by the beauty of untouched nature. The retreat was also kind of like a detox, since there was no alcohol, and all of the food was healthy. Actually all of the v… Continue
