As a Recruiter or Headhunter, how successful have you found LinkedIn: 1) to source talent for a placement - what strategy do you find works best for you 2) to check and assess the talent?

Looking Up Anybody's Name on LinkedIn While Browsing - a Simple 2-Step Set-up

LinkedIn Tutorial, Part 2

Searching within LinkedIn groups' members is limited to keywords only. If you search from within a group it may take a lot of time to sort out the results. However there is a way to do an advanced search within groups (one or more) and contact members - for free, without a paid account required.
