Getting back into the swing of things.

Dear Group,

I've been out of the industry for the past five years and I'm ready to get back into action. Any and all tips for finding candidates using the free techniques would be greatly appreciated. Also, I would love to hear from you good people about the best marketing strategies for garnering new business. I had a recruitment consultant firm that made most of our revenue via billable hours. I'm looking to ramp-up using a host of different options from billable hours to…

How MOOCs can Add Depth to Your Sourcing Strategy

While recruiters continue to gain skills in search techniques, candidates are elusive and wary of getting unsolicited emails, InMails, and efforts to get them engaged with your firm on Facebook or LinkedIn.

Recruiters should also be much smarter about how they find and engage with candidates. A really good…

Recruiting to Lose

"I think you need to have a program that funnels the right people to the top." — Rick Patzke

That quote sounds like it comes from a recruiting professional, no? Well, it doesn’t. Rick Patzke is actually chief operating officer of USA Curling, but he is speaking about recruiting, in a roundabout way. A Recruiter's Night Before Christmas

[Hello RBC - Long time no see]

‘Twas the night before Christmas and somewhere online

A recruiter was puzzling over which webpage to mine

With visions of revenues and managers content

This recruiter was no ordinary Clark Kent

Looking for instances of names he could hoard

His Boolean strings would always… Continue

It got me thinking, what would I request next time I order a perfect…
