What would be the way to go?
Would I blog or would I write

My marketing Director does insist

Just so Google loves me…

A few weeks ago I wrote about how email has become a key driver of mobile recruiting. I was essentially making an educated guess that a big percentage of email is being read on mobile devices, largely because of the way I read email. Even before I switched from a Blackberry to…

Every recruiter everywhere is doing everything they can to drum up new clients—and keep existing ones.
Should that include making client visits? If so, how many client visits should recruiters make?
To be sure, there are many factors involved. Below are a few:
1.The industry and niche in which the recruiter works
2.The business model of the recruiting firm
3. The…

The most common question I get asked these days, by clients, candidates, journalists and even my own staff, is whether the job market is improving around the world. Is confidence on the up? Specifically, are employers hiring again, or do they plan to?
To make an informed assessment of the coming quarter, I have looked at our business activity in the countries and cities where Firebrand operates. Are job orders increasing in…

It was also a year of continued economic uncertainty ending with fear of a double dip recession in Europe and beyond. Despite this we will remember 2011 as the year that the recruitment industry took its head out of the arse of the global recession and…

Within 2 weeks of its launch, Google+ had more than 5 million users, according to a recent article in
PC World, and was the hot topic for days on technology blogs, business sites, and Facebook and Twitter feeds.
