The Social Media in Organizations Community (SMinOrgs) will be undergoing a "digital makeover" in 2013. The core mission of the group won't change significantly, but we need a name and logo that better reflect our evolving focus on new technologies beyond social media. We've identified four possible options and are inviting "the crowd" to help us make the final decision by participating in a brief survey:

I really appreciate your taking a few minutes to let us know what you think. Every vote counts, and the more votes we get the better the outcome will be.

Thanks so much!

I just completed the survey...not sure I am in love with any of them but I did rank the ones you shared. Less is more in this case and the name that is there flows well.

Thanks, Ryan. I really appreciate your input.

Hi, Courtney, I completed the survey. A couple I liked but all are better then current name. The only key is always whether most people can spell something just by hearing it. Good luck, remember to let us know what you go with!

Thanks so much, Amber. I especially appreciate your observation that all are better than the current name. Other people may not agree, but we really do need a new name. I wouldn't have embarked on this effort if I didn't think that was absolutely necessary. I certainly will circle back with the results!

Gee, that really wasn't thought in my head as snotty as it kind of sounds now when I read it!

Haha - I didn't read it as snotty at all... but maybe that's because I agree. :) You should see some of the comments on the survey itself - anonymity sure empowers people to be harsh with their criticisms!!!
