A couple of weeks ago, RecruitingBlogs partnered up with LinkedIn to find out what candidates can do to woo recruiters this Valentine’s Day. You answered, and LinkedIn listened, and we’re kind of in love with the post that ran on LinkedIn’s corporate blog this morning.
In her post, “How to "Woo" a Recruiter and Land Your Dream Job,” Leela Srinivasan, Director of Marketing for LinkedIn Talent Solutions, writes:
“For insights from the trenches, we turned to popular recruiting site Recruitingblogs.com, and asked recruiters, "What should job seekers do to woo you?" Here’s what they had to say.”
While the shout out made our Valentine’s Day, we’re more enamored with the fact that so many RecruitingBlog contributors got a little love from LinkedIn by having their advice featured (and profiles) prominently featured as thought leaders by the world’s leading professional network.
It’s a great reminder that not only is RecruitingBlogs a pretty killer community, but even the biggest brands in the industry turn to our conversations and content for real insights from real recruiters.
Click here to read the post from the LinkedIn blog and find out which members have a not so secret admirer this Valentine’s Day. But even if your comment didn’t make the cut, we can’t thank you enough for letting us know what’s on your minds.

Obviously, we're not always so enamored with LinkedIn, and while many of our featured members (and, for that matter, the larger RecruitingBlogs community) have been openly critical of LinkedIn, its policies and its platform, keep it up: at least they're listening. And we're kind of in love with the fact that they're cool with us continuing to be critical and still rely on our recruiting readers for insights and expertise - that's a testament to all of you who keep it real on RecruitingBlogs.
Stay snarky, my friends.
