Great list!
The only thing I would add is, "Know when to walk away."
Learn when not to chase business, even though it feels so close. Learn when to let that candidate go and not try to shoehorn them into the deal. Learn when to not work on the position because the client is unrealistic. I could think of other examples but spending our time on business that we will never close is a source of immense frustration to new and experienced recruiters alike, so know when to walk away and go after something else.
This is great - I am going to pass onto my team. I like the point of Handle rejection. You will hear “NO” more often than “YES”. Get used to it. It's important to have a sense of humour and not take anything personally :)
