Computational Biologist- Role-New techniques??

I recently worked on Computational Biologist role- Europe.

Search was only limited to Deep Internet Research.

Sources i used are listed below

  • Networking tools
  • Events/Conference
  • Publication
  • Patent Source
  • Company websites
  • Alumni/University
  • Blog Search
  • Search Engines

I want to know are there any other source/technique that I could have used.

Are there any innovative methods to source?

Naaash,
Before starting Broadlook I was a recruiter specializing in placing computational biologists and computational chemists. This need was one of the reasons the Broadlook technnology was created. My advice: Start from the computer science angle vs biology angle. For some reason, it was easier to hit universities com-sci dept and network with phd grads & postdocs vs. biology depts. Perhaps they were more on-line back in the day, but that is what worked for me. Good luck.
