On the language of "transparency"...
"...Telling someone that a particular hedge fund is 'highly leveraged' is a lot easier than saying, 'They've borrowed a lot of money in order to speculate and multiply their positive returns using other people's money.'
On the other hand, the vast majority of buzzwords exist for one reason: to hide. By obfuscating, lying, confusing or just plain avoiding the issue, business people can avoid communicating. Do you have the guts to stop using cliches?"

Great post. Short and brutally to the point ... weasel words = lies. I haven't been in recruiting that long, and have joined Transparency straight out of working in pure IT. So I'm not particularly familar with recruiting jargon. What are some of the weasel words and phrases that get used in recruiting and that I should avoid? What is the equivalent of "highly leveraged" in recruiter-speak?
