I just read this and I am convinced I am over the hill. I don't understand half of this press release.

Wow, there are so many words with high syllable counts. They should do a press release "for dummies" so I can understand it.

Yep, I agree. It sounds like this company is re-mapping the human genome. Any time I read the word "algorithm" my brain short-circuits.

It's nonsense basically. Spun to sound impressive, but what it's offering doesn't add up. It attempts to quantify people as currency, but that's the nonsensical part....you can map someone's skills, but I don't see how you can quantify the intangibles that make one candidate a 'star' and another 'average'.

They have to use consultant/politician speak. Because if they came out and said - we created this spider that goes out on the internet (including social networking sites) and GRADES candidates and matches them against our patented 'life chart' which you must pay an additional fee for us to interpret for you. You'd tell them to go take a hike and fire the 12 year-old who came up with that idiotic company name.

I think their "talent currency" is about as deflated as the dollar right now.

I would be very interested to know just how much money has been blown on something like this.
