I have been on the road for the last three days and today I finally have some time to get back to things. My whole family right now is swimming in the ocean and it is this damn blogddiction that has me holed up in a room checking what I have missed in the last three days.
The voting is closed for the Best Recruiting Blog Awards. I have the results and the only other guy who knows the results is the Recruiting Animal. He keeps better secrets than me so you can try to bribe it out of him with a steak or something but I think you will have no luck. I will announce the winners January 7th/2007. Thanks again to Zoominfo who sponsored the event. I did real good interview with Tad Goltra last week and I'll have it ready for prime time in the new year.
A couple of other exciting things in my world.
1. The Fordyce Letter Blog Launches January 9th/2007 - make sure you remind yourself to check it out if you are a third party recruiter.
2. The Jobster widget that had graced the front page of RecruitingBlogs.com is gone
3. I sold a domain name this past wednesday and I'll tell you all about it in the new year - It was a big sale to a real big company. I bought the name over 10 years ago. They were real smart for buying it.
There are a number of other things as well but I need to get back to the family.
I would like to say thanks to everyone who helped make RecruitingBlogs.com what it is. It really is a group effort and I hope the excitement remains so that next year, we can look at it and see something much bigger and better than it is today.
My involvement here will be light over the next 2 weeks
