I have recently started my own firm (after 15+ years in corporate HR) and have been searching for something that makes sense (for my geographies Asia and the middle east), is sensibly priced and handles most of my needs relatively well. Seems like I could spend a life time doing demos and still not have an answer!!!

When you see a list like that then it really becomes clear what a daunting challenge this whole process of choosing the right ATS can become. I'd say the key to solving this puzzle is making a realistic assessment of what exactly you need from an ATS and how much you are willing to pay?.

If you have big company and a generous budget to splash out on an ATS that has all sorts of bells and whistles (and some functions that you might never use), top-notch support offering, and the lot, then you can easily go for some of the big boys on the list. On the other hand, if low cost is a major priority, you can still get a fully functioning ATS for much less - CATS or Standoutjobs for example. Or how about SmartRecruiters, which is even Free and you don't pay anything?

At least no one can complain that there aren't options out there, right? :)
