Exactly what do the best Embalmers have in common with the best Recruiters?
My take:
- The smart ones are still learning and improving
- They both can deal with cold customers
- Both present their clients in the best possible light
- Both take pride in a job well done
- They are up for the challenge and are results oriented
- Work & customers will be constant for the foreseeable future
- Both will experience unresponsive deadbeats and vacant stares, as in, nobody's home
- ...and some assignments will require heavy lifting
- …your thoughts?

Ha! I like this list, especially the unresponsive deadbeats bullet. I must admit, these are two professions that I never thought to compare!

The "unresponsive deadbeats" I refer to are those hiring managers and HR types who get back to you when they get back to you--if they get back to you at all.
