The E-commerce managers are hired to manage the performance of the employees responsible for creating and executing different web systems. The managers are required to develop plans to sell various products and services online. The transactions include both business to business and business to consumer sale. In some cases consumer to consumer needs to be managed also.

The managers play an important part in company’s success. They look after online ordering processes. The managers work with Internet marketing professionals. They attempt to raise the awareness of the products and along with this create market demand. The managers also prepare online catalogue and calendar. Handling the social networking is also an important job requirement. An e-commerce manager also needs to submit a regular report to higher management. Work condition

Since this is a technical job, the e-commerce managers spend the whole day working on their computers. It is not always required for the managers to work from office . They can work from anywhere and this includes the comfort of their homes.

Education is required to succeed in this profession. The organisations prefer bachelor degree in marketing or Internet marketing. The professionals need to have knowledge in website designing to be able to perform the job properly.

The e-commerce industry is growing with time. Therefore, the demand for trained professionals is also increasing. In the future this demand will grow further.
