As some may have noticed, not everything I write about concerns employment screening, staffing, or the pitfalls of the job market in this current environment. I have done a fair share of articles about all that, and my concerns are with the rudiments of staffing and job acquisition and how they apply to employment screening.
But then there is the other side, that literary side the creeps in every now and then, causing me to abandoned all he distractions in the wee hours of the night, so I can sit down and write something. The last thing, a romantic mystery thriller, modern California Noir, was The Blood Orange.
Anyway, on that note...I just wanted to thank Ron Knight, Purveyor of Middle Room for including me this year on his list of 100 Top Authors on Facebook. Ron contributes on a daily basis insights into the modern publishing world and the writers of today, their challenges and triumphs. His website ,Up Authors.com, and his posting son Facebook are always entertaining and informative. Here is the link....http://www.upauthors.com/blog

Comment by Valentino Martinez on December 23, 2011 at 10:33pm CONGRATS! Gordon,
The recognition is well deserved judging by your writings, literary accomplishments, the medium, the qualifying factors and the source. And the fact that 8000 authors were considered suggests this is no small recognition.
BTW—you actually made the TOP 50 of those 8000 authors on Facebook—Facebook the “most used social network on the planet.
Congrats on the recognition Gordon. Your expertise on background checks and screening is invaluable and quite welcome here at the RBC. Congratulations again and happy holidays to you and your family.
