Harris Interactive recently published a list of the most "reputable" companies based upon a survey that took 20 different factors into account, including social responsibility, financial performance, and leadership. WANTED took at look at the recent hiring activity of the 10 most reputable companies.

The hiring demand from the top ten companies, in aggregate, is up 270% versus the 4-year low in February 2009.

While this is huge growth, in aggregate, some of the companies on an individual basis actually saw negative growth year over year. In the table below, you can see the top ten companies re-ranked by the number of online job ads they have placed over the past 30 days and the percentage change from last year (same time period).

You'll see that Johnson & Johnson has two labels in this chart above - many times companies will post job ads under their various brands, labels, subsidiaries, or divisions. In this case, there was a fairly significant number of job ads placed under each brand so we included both.
These companies are looking to hire for a wide array of job titles. The table below shows the top 20 occupations that these companies were looking to hire for in the past 30 days, along with the percentage change from the same period 2010.
