The Global Services Sales Engineer will be responsible for technical sales support for customers and business solutions consultants. The key objectives for the position will centre on extensive customer engagements within the pre-sales cycle including conference calls, site visits and proposal support activities.
This position will serve as the pre-sales technical expert of the sales team, will contribute to all aspects of the sales cycle.
Provide technical product information and assist in producing accurate and timely presentations, responses to RFIs and RFPs, security solution configurations, infrastructure solutions, TCO, and white papers and other sales aids.
Educate and train the sales teams on product features, enhancements and future roadmaps.
knowledge of managed services or managed infrastructure services
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to perform security and infrastructure requirements definition and present technical product or service solutions.
Ability to assist in customer evaluations/trials of security offerings.
Ability to work as part of a team or alone
The candidate should have demonstrated customer technical sales experience with enterprise network security/infrastructure products and/or services.
The candidate must possess excellent presentation and communication skills at multiple levels (including executive) of an organization.
Must be willing to travel occasionally
