I want to get my RecruitingBlog going. I realize that it will take some time to develop proper social media habbits, and actually set up all my RSS feeds and stuff. I tend to have a lot of things going on in my life both inside and outside of work, but I gotta make time for what is important to me, and I am super passionate about web 2.0. I dont think I can do a post every day, but am very inspired by the dilligence of some people like Rayanne Thorn, who do, so I am going to write a post once a week and go from there...

I will start off with a poem inspired by all of the people that I met at RecruitFest 09, because I saw so many similarities among the members who were there, and among my current and past colleagues too!

R - Really Love People
E - Exceptionally Passionate
C - Conversationalists
R - Results Driven
U - Uber Fun
I - Intelligent, Inspiring
T - Talented
E - Efficient
R - Real, Authentic
S - Social Media Savvy

Can anyone think of a better U word for Recruiters? LOL

Nice Thanks Oscar and Hassan for those great U words! I have another one for S - Supportive!

The trait of being supportive has really been exemplified to me by all memebers on this site, who share info and best practices with each other. But also, I am reminded of Jenny De Vaughn who told me at RecruitFest, about the supportive recruiter community in Atlanta, who all get together and support each other on a regular basis.
