New version 15 adds optional SmartSync functions to email capabilities.

Offered as part of the just released Version 15, the new SmartSync integration ensures that all user activities related to email messaging are accounted for in performance measurement and reporting.

SmartSearch® was the first ATS to integrate with Outlook in real-time, and its Outlook toolbar plug-in makes it simple to manage email from within the application, with tools that import inbound email or outgoing replies, as well as forward resumes into the database. The new SmartSync option builds on these existing capabilities to more easily manage email from within SmartSearch for seamless online communication and integration with Outlook, Exchange, gmail and other existing email systems.

In addition, SmartSearch® v15 upgrades its Outlook toolbar plug-in with the ability to forward an inbound email containing a job requirement and parse it into the database with a single click. This functionality uses the same parsing technology for email routing of inbound resumes, and is a direct result of suggestions from corporate customers who received job descriptions via email from Hiring Managers. It also makes it faster and more convenient for staffing agency customers to import job notifications via email from third party Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
