It is amazing how Tebow has been embraced by the masses and his presence in the pop culture fabric. TV ratings, Social media trending, and water cooler talk....even those that can care less about football know about Tebow. This weekend I would not be surprised to see the rating for the gave vs. the Patriots shatter records, but the real question is will Elway stay true to his word and stick by Tebow for the long haul.
Comment by Marvin Smith on January 13, 2012 at 6:30pm It is going to be interesting. On ESPN, the word "Tebow" is used 3 X per minute or about 160 times an hour. I guess it partly an underdog story and partly a counter culture story (vis a vis traditional NFL QB's). Elway is in cognitive dissonance--his experience says it won't work, yet the team is winning.
