Comment by David Smooke on May 19, 2011 at 6:43pm @Paul. That's a catch22. If recruiting is easy and inexpensive, former recruiters will be easily and inexpensively be offered positions that utilize their talent in different and/or new ways.
The worker evolves. Always has and always will have to if he wants to continue to be a worker. Recruiters have a lot of great skills that can be used in many aspects of business: negotiating, managing expectations of clients, a great network of talent - to name a few . . . If businesses can save money they should. It drives prices down and increases output.
