Want to find a great candidate, think like a candidate!!
Awhile back I wrote a blog about “research comes first”. It was all about how you need to do your research about your openings so you know what you are looking for, however just dong that is not enough. You need to do research thinking like a candidate. If you are looking for a “Quick Test Pro” (QTP), make sure you do your research, and think like a QTP professional/candidate. What would or could they have on their resume or profile that would make it clear to everyone they are a QTP person. What groups might they be part of, what certifications, what companies etc. If you do the, what am I looking for research or “position research” (PR) and combine it with your thinking like a candidate research (CR), I guarantee you will find candidates.
