Hi, my name is Kevin and I am the operations manager for a healthcare recruiting firm in Los Angeles, CA. I’m reaching out to you because you indicated on your profile that you were in healthcare staffing and possibly open to doing some splits. We have a lot of open job orders and offer a 50/50 fee split. Would you be open to discussing ways we could collaborate from time to time?
No fancy contracts or anything. This is my fee agreement. I tell them you can sign it and we'll work together, or you don't sign it and we won't work together. All you need is your first order. I went to people I'd done business with in the past, then it just kind of snow-balled from there. I think I've been very lucky.
Joe, I guess I just took some fee agreements that I had used over the years and modified them. It's pretty straight forward. It says my is is X%, you get a 90-day placement guarantee and if you hire someone tat I've sent to you within one year, I will bill you a fee. Here, I just cut and pasted for you:
Recruiter guarantees placements for 90-days from start date. A replacement will be completed if initial candidate resigns or is released for any reason other than the following:
1) Reduction in force resulting from a work slowdown
2) Organizational restructuring or elimination of position
3) Unfair labor practice
4) A breach of agreement including a reduction in salary, decrease in benefits, etc.
Should the candidate resign or be dismissed after disciplinary action within the guarantee period, the client will be entitled to receive a replacement candidate to fill the same position.
