Yes, this is great. I was very excited over last weekend, when I saw the familiar Josh L. pose over the computer and read his quote. Very cool. Way to go, Josh....

Thanks, Karen, Maren, and Rayanne :) That's really cool of you. Most of my contacts and friends at Fast Company (and Fortune magazine) are not directly recruiting related or I'd send some serious traffic over here!!!

I'd love to share some of our conversations and how they stand to potentially impact our profession . . . but I don't know if anyone here would be interested. Seriously, jeez, I have had some pretty amazing 'talent' discussions over the last 6 months with thinkers outside our space :) I'd love to introduce some 'folks' (as Georgey W says), but Talent Acquisition and Recruiting have a weird brand in the rest of the business world (which trust me, I'm trying to change . . . but I'm just a little person). Thinkers in other realms of business think we operate in our own little myopic world and don't care about anything outside it - of course, this is not true.

Anyway - Thanks, Friends :)

Good for you, Josh. You gave me a heads up that you had been covered somewhere but you didn't tell me which magazine. At least I don't think you did. The only thing is I like the new (mean) photo better. (Thanks Karen).

Saw the article, seems like I've come full circle. I think I came across your twitter post about 24 hours ago. I look forward to following you going forward.

Animal, thanks for the kind words :) Actually, I didn't even know about this until Rayanne mentioned it - literally, I found it at 11pm a few nights ago thinking Rayanne was kidding with me!

Hey, it's funny with the pic we might use on social media versus other areas. This one here is me 'deep in thought' with my webcam . . . I guess with the flip side being one half-clothed and smiling! (you know what I mean - we see those quite a bit nowadays!) :)

Hi, Jonathon - good to hear from you :) Yeah, I think I may have come across like Twitter (micro-blogging) is a bad thing, but it certainly isn't. I just don't see much discretion with it - for me, it's a way to further our value prop/professional relationship with candidates . . . but I try not to publicize every detail of my personal life :) Hey, maybe I'm more guarded than the average bear.?. I wonder if it's just a 'guy-thing'? I wonder how the early 30s' mindset compares with the early 40s, early 50s, etc? I wonder how geography or socioeconomics fit in as well (like where we were born & raised, etc.?)

Josh, Rayanne likes to be called RayRay now. (That used to be her baby name).

Josh - nobody more deserving to be recognized for the feedback and comments you give to our community of recruiters. Congratulations and good things do happen to good people. :)

Bill, Does that mean I'm not good?
