Finding agricultural executives?

  • Rating: No Rating
Even though I live in KS, I've never worked with an agricultural company! Any tips on the best way to reach ag execs who are willing to live in nowhere, KS with a population of 5 people plus 150K head of cattle to work for a progressive company for a great package? My mind automatically gears towards the internet...but no luck so far. I'm this close to co-op bulletin boards. Any help is appreciated!

Direct sourcing is always best. There are many major growers in remote locations in CA (Fresno, Central Valley, etc) that would good sources to dive into. Exec's at these sites are also already used to the small town living, so the relo is not as hard of a sell. I know Primetime Produce, LLC in Cochella may be a good start. The people in this industry are also usually pretty easy going, so it is often not to hard of a call. Good luck.
