The Social Network For The Recruiting Industry

I recently made the decision to make a move from HireAbility after nearly 5 years and sent a note to a few of my industry contact. Sean Reder replied with a great question asking me, What is your Dream Job?

I have spent the last 20 years of my life building sales teams in the Silicon Valley and around the globe. Anyone looking for a proven sales/marketing leader who knows how to recruit, hire, train, and motivate then we should contact me right away. I have extensive experience in human capital, software, technology, professional services, start-ups, turnarounds, recruiting, growing revenues, creating marketing programs, building sales organizations, helping firms to go public, and successfully integrating mergers and acquisitions.

I told Sean that I am working on figuring out my dream job right now by talking to people. I know I like to lead from the front, train, and motivate people who are responsible for closing deals and bringing home the bacon, I love technology, I love recruiting, I love to have upside potential in equity, and I love to have fun, I love to work with great people, I love creating partnerships that work, and I love to win. I also love my family so I try to earn a good income so I can support them and our lifestyle, I love living in the SF Bay Area, I love to have balance between my work and family time so I can do things that I also love to do like coaching a little league baseball team. My true dream job would be to be a professional chef who is also a rock & roll star and a professional athlete but I think I'm going to settle for a VP of Sales & Marketing position with a great company that wants to set the world on fire, and I'll have to cook at home, sing in the shower and play ball with my kids.

In case you become aware of any postions I should be considering a copy of my background is attached. I look forward to announcing my next exciting venture soon. Stay tuned...

Craig,

I was going to ask this and will now as I do it of everyone, "What do you want to do when you grow up?" The answer is frequently different than the "Dream Job" question.
