DIY Hiring

Do It Yourself Hiring

I am a DIY kind of gal. I am hooked on home repair and landscaping programs. They make it look so easy! By the end of the program I am convinced I can successfully complete an entire kitchen or backyard transformation. After countless trips to the hardware store, spending hundreds of dollars, and consulting with the store e

Pardon me...

Why do I hear recruiters say that it is an intrusion to call a candidate who isn’t actively looking? I’m tired of it. It isn’t an intrusion unless you are rude about the way you present yourself. It is FLATTERY!! I love receiving a call from someone trying to recruit me because they either found me to be in the top 10% of my field, or someone else thought enough of me to pass my name and number along because I’m all th

Hi Michelle. Hope you had a good 4th! I just relaxed and took a little mental margarita. I'm trying to build my database so I'm doing a lot of research. It can become quite cumbersome! How are you? How long have you business?

OMG! Congrats! I'm on my own too! I'm signing up with a trainer that will teach me the ins and outs of the biz, because I've been doing sales for 25+ years (young for my age) but I just started doing recruiting. I figured if all the numbsculls can do it so can I. Its just extremely competive and this market is yucky! Call me anytime. (602) 799-3450. Alice

Hi Michelle:

Are you working at your own home-based business or do you work for an employment firm? Maybe we could get together. I'm going out on my own, but I partner with other recruiters to get job orders, fill them, sourcing candidates, etc. Thanks for welcoming me to the community. How do you like this blog so far? Alice
