First up a panel discussion on diversity with Glenn Gutmacher. Lost of talk on veteran and veteran spouse hiring. 72% of student veterans succeed compared to 62% of nonserving students. The overall message here is getting buy-in, work hard, and think outside the box to find and hire diverse candidates.
Next up was Ben Gotkin and establishing a sourcing function. This was all about the things to consider when creating a sourcing function. Things like: Tools (ats/CRM etc), Training, Process(SLAs, OFCCP etc), Structure(team size, makeup etc), Sourcing Model(Centralized, Decentralized, Outsourced, Off Shore), And of course putting together a strategy to maximize the ROI.
