Well Talent42 2017 has come and gone, and it was spectacular. 2 days of speakers covering the entire spectrum of the Staffing Lifecycle.


This is part 1 of my give back on Talent 42 2017. First up “Tech Skills for 2021 by Scott Ruthfield”.

The long story short here is a few things

1.The Cloud

2.Machine learning


Well there you go.

Next up “ The Robots are Coming” by Isabel Kloumann. Long story short is yes a robot or AI can do part of what a recruiter does, but not all, and even those parts it can do will require recruiter over sight. So we are not going any place….yet


Lastly for this post is “Timing is Everything” by Natalie Severino. So nearly 80% of all executives are concerned about the lack of key skills. Only 48% of CEO are satisfied with their current recruiting solution. Now what can you do:

1.Monday/Tuesdays - Post jobs to sites first thing in the morning. Refresh existing postings.

2.Wednesday/Thursday- Search for new candidates, reach out to new candidates, and follow.

3.Firday- P)Lan your next week, check in with hiring managers, prepare for interviews, finalize JDs.

Rinse and repeat.
